<p>Directions to Hotel: From the M8 motorway take junction 18 that is signposted for Charing Cross. The slip road is on the right hand side of the motorway. This is quite unusual so watch it doesn&#8217;t catch you out. As you come off junction 18 move over into the right hand lane. Go straight through the first set of traffic lights turn right at the second set of lights into Berkely Street. Keep to the left and and follow the road at the end of this street follow the sharp bend to the right. You will then arrive at a junction. Turn left here into Sauchiehall Street. You will find the Sandyford 400 yards down the road on the right hand side.</p>

We are approx 1520 minutes walk from all or 5 minutes by taxi. Please note the walk from all these stations is all uphill in particular from Central and Queen Street Stations if you have heavy baggage or have walking difficulties a taxi is strongly recommended.The rooms also have television satellite channels teacoffee facilities and telephone. The rooms are available from 1.00pm onwards and the check out time is 11am. If you arrive before 1.00pm you can leave your baggage with us.We serve breakfast daily from 7am to 9am.We do not have a car park and parking is on the street only and is restricted due to our very central location. Glasgow City Council has a voucher scheme in operation for parking and we can supply the vouchers on their behalf for a nominal cost to enable parking. The cost from 4pm to 8am the next day is Â£2.00. The cost from 8am to 2pm is Â£2.00. The cost from 8am to 4pm is Â£4.00. There is also a 24 hour multi-storey car park 2 minutes drive away from the guest house.McLays Guest House has 81 bedrooms and guests can choose between single rooms twin rooms double rooms family rooms with 1 double and 1 single bed and family rooms with 1 double and 2 single beds. We have 58 rooms with ensuite showertoilet and 23 rooms with wash-hand basin which share communal bathrooms on the corridors.Guests can enjoy relaxing chatting reading or watching television in one of the 2 spacious and comfortably furnished TV lounges. McLays has 4 dining rooms offering a choice of breakfast menu complimentary to all guests.We also have for guests use computers for internet access there is a Â£2.00 cost for 30 minutes use if you have your own laptop then we provide free wi-fi access but only around our public areas a access code is required for this which we will provide.We have a lift but in only in one of the four buildings which make up the guest house. We are in a particularly hilly part of the city centre there are also 15 steps from street level to our main entrance.Please note any reservation for more than one room or any reservation which is for all male groups are accepted but at our discretion only and a deposit may be asked for we decide the amount of the deposit if the reservation is not willing to pay a deposit then we will not accept the reservation.</p>

Near the end of Renfrew Street McLays Guest House is on your right hand side. This walk should under normal walking pace take approx 15 minutes.Walking from Queen Street Station: Exit the George Street exit turning right. Turn right into West Nile Street. The central station is 300 metres from the property a return ticket is Â£5. Taxis are available 24 hours a day from in front of the main terminal building and charge around Â£18 to the city centre. The nearest train station to the airport is Paisley Gilmour Street two miles away. Taxis and a frequent local bus service connect the station with Glasgow Airport. From Gilmour Street there are direct trains to Glasgow Central station Ayr and the Clyde Coast.
